Etzer S. Emile is an economist and business consultant. He studied economics at Quisqueya University, holds an MBA with a specialization in Finance and Banking, and studied Sociology at FASCH of UEH. He has received training at Harvard University, Oklahoma State University, and in Belgium, Guatemala, and Mexico on economic development and business support. In 2017, he participated in the IVLP program of the U.S. Department of State. He is a university lecturer, Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI), and Coordinator of the Tourism Department at Quisqueya University.
He hosts the economic segment on Radio Vision 2000 and a TV Show on Tele Caraïbes. As an entrepreneur and CEO of Haïti Efficace, he offers consulting services in business creation and development. A speaker and consultant for multiple private companies and public entities, Etzer Emile is also the author of about thirty publications in academic journals and newspapers in the country.
In November 2017, he published his first book, “Haïti a choisi de devenir un pays pauvre: Les vingt raisons qui le prouvent” (“Haiti Chose to Become a Poor Country: The Twenty Reasons That Prove It”), which sold over 25,000 copies in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, France, Switzerland, Martinique, Canada, and the United States.
