Alfred Zebi

Alfred Zebi possesses extensive international experience as a lawyer initially based in Paris, advising governments and private entities. He then served as general counsel for an entity attached to the Presidency of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, providing extensive advice on large-scale public-private partnership projects. Later, in his role as Senior Legal Counsel at the African Development Bank (AfDB), he worked on reforming the department of administration and procurement procedures and conducted internal investigations for the AfDB.

He subsequently joined the UNDP in New York as an Investigations Specialist within the Office of Audit and Investigations before returning to Côte d’Ivoire to work as an independent consultant in 2012. Alfred joined OSACO in 2017.

Alfred conducts investigations for OSACO, particularly for international NGOs, primarily serving as the lead investigator or overseeing investigations. He mainly focuses on Francophone countries. Due to current global trends, his investigations increasingly involve sexual abuse and exploitation, although he remains a specialist in fraud and procurement-related investigations.

As an African and Francophone, Alfred’s in-depth knowledge, personal experience, and cultural awareness enable interviewees to confide in him more readily. Combined with over 20 years of investigative experience and a network of contacts on the ground, he is an invaluable and highly effective professional investigator. Alfred is based in OSACO’s Africa offices in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, allowing for rapid deployment without visa requirements in most cases when field presence is necessary in Africa.
